John Ford Clayton

I live in Harriman, Tennessee with my wife Kara, and canine companions Lucy,  and Clyde. I have two grown sons, Ben and Eli, a daughter-in-law, Christina, and a granddaughter Zoey.

I earned a BS in Finance from Murray State University and an MBA from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

I am active in my East Tennessee community having served on the local boards of the Boys and Girls Club and a federal credit union, on church leadership and creative teams, and on a parks and recreation advisory committee.

When I'm not writing I work as a project management consultant supporting Federal project teams. 

​

I am a fan of Disney parks and University of Kentucky basketball and football. My wife and I enjoy spending time in Isle of Palms, South Carolina.
